(“49 North” or “Company”) (TSX Venture: FNR) is pleased to announce that at the Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held July 9, 2014 (the “Meeting”), the Company’s shareholders elected the incumbent board of directors, being Tom MacNeill, Stephen Halabura, Jeffrey Green, Norman Betts and Andrew Cook. 49 North also reports the resolutions appointing Davidson & Company LLP as new auditors for the Company, approving the continuation of the Company’s stock option plan, and ratifying the amendment to certain stock options of the Company were all approved.
The shareholders of the Company showed strong support for the matters brought before the Meeting, with each resolution passing with the support of over 95% of the votes cast.
